Preliminary Examination

The examination will consists of two papers— General Studies of 100 marks each.

Paper I: General Studies (100 Marks)
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography
Indian Polity and Economy
History, Geography, Economy and Culture of Jharkhand.

Paper II: General Studies (100 Marks)
Current Events of State, National and International importance
General Science— Do not require specialisation and that which can be expected from a well educated person.
General Mental Ability—Reasoning and Analytical abilities

General Hindi: 100 marks
Nibandh: 30 marks
Vyakaran: 30 marks
Vakya-Vinyas: 25 marks
Sankshepann: 15 marks

General Studies (Paper I): 200 marks

Current event of National and International importance and current affairs.
Statistical analysis graphs and diagrams

General Studies (Paper II): 200 marks
Indian Polity
Indian Economy and Geography of India
The role and impact of science and technology in the development of India and recent developments in science and technology.
