RRB NTPC Exam 2019 Eligibility

Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist Bachelor’s Degree + Typing Proficiency 18 to 32 years 
Senior Clerk Cum Typist  Bachelor’s Degree + Typing Proficiency  18 to 32 years 
Assistant Station Master Bachelor’s Degree   18 to 32 years 
Traffic Assistant Bachelor’s Degree   18 to 32 years 
Senior Time Keeper Bachelor’s Degree + Typing Proficiency   18 to 32 years 
  • Medical tests: To qualify for the post, apart from educational requirements, the candidates will also have to take a Physical fitness test.

Medical Standards for RRB NTPC 2019 

  • Candidates called, will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them.
  • The medical requirements for different categories are given below:

  • Distance Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses with fogging test (must not accept +2D)
  • Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses and Must pass tests for Colour
    Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision etc
2 A-2 Physically fit in all respects
  • Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without glasses (No fogging test)
  • Near Vision: Sn. 0.6,0.6 without glasses and must pass tests for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision etc
3 B-1 Physically fit in all respects
  • Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D)
  • Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass the test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision etc
4 B-2 Physically fit in all respects
  • Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D).
  • Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass the test for Binocular Vision etc
5 C-1 Physically fit in all respects
  • Distant Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses.
  • Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required

Note:

  • The above medical standards are indicative and not exhaustive and apply to candidates in general.
  • Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgical procedure to correct the refractory error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standards A2, B1 and B2.
  • Candidates are advised to make sure they are eligible for the posts they have opted for as per the medical standards.
