Badminton: PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, P Kashyap storm into semifinals of India Open

In Badminton, Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and Parupalli Kashyap and men’s doubles pair Manu Attri and B Sumeet Reddy have stormed the semifinals India Open Tournament in New Delhi.

World number six Sindhu will face the second seed China’s He Bingjiao today in the semifinals. Srikanth will face Huang Yuxiang while Kashyap will be up against Viktor Axelsen of Denmark. 

In the quarterfinals in New Delhi on Friday, Sindhu defeated Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark in the Women’s Singles.

In Men’s Singles, Srikanth beat Sai Praneeth.  Kashyap upset Tzu Wei Wang of Taiwan. The sixth seed pair of Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy defeated Pranav Chopra and Shivam Sharma. However, H.S.Prannoy lost to Viktor Axelsen of Denmark.
