India and Bangladesh hold Director General Level talks between BSF and BGB
India and Bangladesh held the Director General Level Talks between the Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Wednesday.
The two delegations discussed various issues related to control of fake currency, narcotics trade and cattle smuggling on the India-Bangladesh international border and confidence-building measures between the two forces.
The Border Security Force (BSF) delegation was led by Director General BSF Rajni Kant Mishra and the BGB delegation was led by its Director General Major General Md Shafeenul Islam.
This was the 48th round of the DG level talks between the border guarding forces of the two countries. The next round of talks will be held in New Delhi in later part of this year.
The last round of DG-level talks between the two countries was in Delhi in September last year.
