Notification for 6th phase of Lok Sabha elections issued
Notification for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections was issued today. Fifty nine constituencies, spread over seven states, will go to polls in this phase on the 12th of next month.
Seven-phase polling was announced for the 543-member Lok Sabha. A voter turnout of 69.43 per cent was recorded in the first phase. Counting of votes for all the phases will be taken up on 23rd of May.
