[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Korea on 21-22 of this month. In a release, External Affairs Ministry said, during the visit, Mr Modi will be conferred with the 2018 Seoul Peace Prize at a ceremony.
The visit will provide an important occasion for the two countries to review the recent developments in bilateral relations. The two sides will exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest with the objective of further strengthening the Special Strategic Partnership.
The Ministry said Prime Minister’s visit will further demonstrate the priority we attach to deepening multi-dimensional engagement with South Korea as part of India’s ‘Act East Policy.’ The visit is part of the new momentum in high-level exchanges between India and Korea which witnessed the visit of President Moon Jae-in for Bilateral Summit in July last year and the participation of the Korean First Lady Her Excellency Madame Kim Jung-sook at the Deepotsav event in Ayodhya in November 2018.
