Singapore Open: PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Sameer Verma, Kidambi Srikanth to play their quarterfinals

London Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal will clash with second seeded Nozomi Okuhara of Japan today.
Earlier, PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal advanced to the women’s singles quarterfinals of the tournament yesterday. While Sindhu beat Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt, Saina defeated Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong.
In Men’s Singles, Sameer Verma continued his impressive run, beating China’s Lu Guangzu 21-15, 21-18. Verma will face Chou Tien-chen of Taiwan in the quarterfinals today. In the other match, Kidambi Srikanth defeated Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark 21-12, 23-21. He will take on Japan’s Kemto Momota today.
